GUACAMOLE FACTS

Avocado
 By. Zapata Mexican Restaurant
Avocados are considered a staple in Mexico. They are the one item we try to never run out of. Not only are they extremely tasty, they are good for you too. Avocados are loaded with vitamins B, E and K. They are high in fiber and have more potassium than bananas. They also contain carotenoids, antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids. Avocados are smooth, creamy, and taste wonderful plain.
They are the main ingredient in guacamole. I prefer to taste more avocado than spice in my guacamole, but there are many different recipes for this yummy dip.  Whether you make this with guacamole mix, just add salsa or start from scratch, it is sure to be a great addition to any Mexican dish.
If you want to try your hand at making homemade guacamole, just peel, mash and add a little flavor.  P.S. Guacamole goes well with our tortilla chips.
Almost every authentic Mexican delicacy goes well with the guacamole, from fajitas, tacos, burritos, steaks (carne asada),
Try out these delicacies today at Zapata mexican restaurant and Tequila Bar.
